John Thomas was born on January 7, 1992 On Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. As a child, he began to find his vocals while singing in his church choir His music icons included Michael Jackson, Prince and Marvin Gaye. Right after high school, John Thomas moved to CT to pursue his music dream. John did various talent shows and events over the next few years, but it wasn't until 2012 that he really started to make a name for himself. John Thomas' soulful vocals and edgy look took the tri-state area by storm beginning in February 2012. John began a college tour in the tri-state area opening up for such artists as Boyz II Men, Elle Varner, Kendrick Lamar, Jeremih, Wale , Lloyd and Common. He performed at over 60 universities, colleges and venues. Some of these included Webster Hall, Sacred Heart University, Mayo Center for the Performing Arts, UConn, The Bitter End, Santos House Party, SOB, Seton Hall University, Hofstra University and Vermont University. John Thomas' strong passion for giving back to his local community inspired him to continue to perform for charity events during this time. John Thomas earned the opportunity to perform at the Grammys as a finalist in Akon's Emerging Artist Competition in February 2013. Currently, John Thomas is finishing up his first album with multi-platinum producer, Chris Liggio.
